Pain catheters

Many patients suffering from pain can be gently helped as outpatients, and without the stress of any anaesthetic procedures, with pain catheter treatment.

It has been recognised in Germany for many years and is also routinely deployed in the large university clinics.

The spinal catheter is deployed as a therapy for spinal complaints after slipped discs and for nerve root irritation syndromes (sciatica) and its objective is to eliminate the inflammation of the nerve and to relieve pressure. Through this procedure, the extremely painful build-up of scar tissue that often results from an operation is avoided.

You can find further information about our treatment procedures on the GIW – the German Spinal Intervention Society.
